This is a key role responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, and supporting customers, suppliers, and daily production operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for customers and outside processing suppliers
• Ensure customer orders and materials are shipped accurately and on schedule
• Receive incoming materials, components, and completed parts and verify quantities and documentation
• Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, packing lists, and other required documentation
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records using computer systems
• Organize and prioritize shipments based on production schedules, customer requirements, and delivery deadlines
• Match manufactured parts to work orders, drawings, and other production documentation
• Review basic blueprints and technical drawings to help identify and verify parts
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, production employees, and management regarding shipment status and delivery requirements
• Coordinate transportation of parts and materials to customers and outside suppliers as needed
• Safely handle, package, and prepare precision-manufactured components for shipment
• Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn shipping, inventory, and manufacturing software systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments, deadlines, and production requirements
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately maintain records and shipping documentation
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required
• Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous job shop or precision manufacturing experience is a plus
• Exposure to blueprints or technical drawings preferred; full blueprint reading experience is not required
• Ability to visually match manufactured parts to drawings and production documentation
• Willingness and ability to learn the complete shipping and receiving coordination process
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily responsibilities

Pay: $19–$26/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
