Job Title: Tugger Operator Recycle Technician - $17.50 / Hr

Shift: 1st Shift

Salary: $17.50 / Hr

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect materials and sort materials by their characteristics into different bins
  • Monitor/handle hazardous waste collection areas
  • Collect, salvage, and sort materials such as:
    • paper
    • cardboard
    • packing materials
    • bubble wrap
    • peanuts
    • Styrofoam/foam
    • electronic scrap
    • scrap metals
    • soda cans
    • glass
    • plastics
    • scrap lumber
    • pallets
    • newsprint
  • Operate a Tugger and drop off and pick up recycle bins

Qualifications:

  • Attendance that meets attendance policy
  • Use equipment such as:
    • compactors
    • vertical balers
    • horizontal balers
    • forklifts
    • tuggers
    • electronic pallet jacks
    • manual pallet jacks
    • shrink wrap machine
    • shredders
    • densifiers
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
