Job Location: Sidney, OH
Shift: 1st Shift, M-F, 10A-6:30P
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Express Employment Professionals Sidney is actively hiring Quality Control Associates for a reputable company located in Sidney, OH. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to product quality and ensure the highest standards in manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Quality Control Manager and Supervisor in upholding inspection, testing, and documentation procedures to ensure the reliability of products.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials and manufactured products, ensuring conformance to ISO 9000 and A2LA standards.
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel for maintaining documentation control databases, analyzing quality data, and generating reports for product performance.
- Perform various laboratory test procedures with precision, ensuring quick and accurate reporting of test results and abnormalities.
- Measure product quality using mechanical inspection tools, including digital calipers and other measuring devices.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Support internal audits of quality processes, facilities, and documentation systems to maintain compliance.
- Ensure the confidentiality of customer data.
- Assist with the calibration of laboratory test equipment, maintaining compliance with ISO 9000 and A2LA standards.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow strict quality guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
- Experience with mechanical inspection tools, including digital calipers.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, A2LA standards, SOPs, and GMP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
