Facilities Industrial Electrician
Location: St. Paris, Ohio
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: Starting at $80,000 annually; compensation varies based on experience
Overtime: As needed
Job Summary
Express Employment is seeking a skilled Facilities Industrial Electrician for a 1st shift opportunity in St. Paris, Ohio. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving facility electrical and mechanical systems to support safe and efficient operations while working alongside an experienced maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair industrial electrical systems, including substations, switches, VFDs, MCCs, breakers, and bus ducts.
- Troubleshoot facility equipment and Building Management Systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Support and maintain HVAC systems, air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Evaluate facility equipment and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, performance, and preventive maintenance efforts.
- Mentor team members through knowledge sharing, effective communication, and strong work habits.
- Communicate effectively with production staff, management, contractors, and maintenance personnel while completing assigned projects and tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year Electrical degree or equivalent education and training.
- Electrical Journeyman card or a minimum of three years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical equipment and facility systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
