Job Title: Rack Operator / Production Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Sidney, Ohio
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Rack Operator / Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sidney, Ohio. This position is for 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), with required training on 1st shift. The Rack Operator works closely with the Shift Supervisor to ensure quality production, safe equipment operation, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience looking to grow with a stable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce parts according to verbal and written work instructions
- Load, rack, and unrack parts from racks or cassettes
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Inspect parts for quality and complete required production paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE
- Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or injuries to management promptly
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Hi-Lo / forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively on a team
