Job Title: CNC Machinist- 3rd Shift
Location: Troy, Ohio
Schedule: M-F, 8pm-6am
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis) to produce aerospace parts according to detailed specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain precision, quality, and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
- Troubleshoot machining problems and collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues.
- Accurately document production data and maintain required records.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with HAAS, Mazak, or similar CNC controls required.
- Formal CNC or machining certification or technical training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator (preferably in the aerospace industry).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of machine shop safety standards and procedures.
