Mechanical Assembly Technician – 1st Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift team in Troy, Ohio. In this hands-on role, you will assemble automated welding and assembly equipment using blueprints, mechanical drawings, and part lists. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking stable, first-shift manufacturing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Read and interpret part lists, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with equipment preparation for customer demonstrations and evaluations
- Support on-site installations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Pneumatic system experience is a plus
- Welding or fabrication skills are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and reliability
