Position: Production Sorter - Automotive Parts Manufacturing
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Day Shift - 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM

Job Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Sorter to join our automotive parts manufacturing team. You'll play a critical role in quality control by sorting and inspecting stamped and welded automotive parts to ensure only the highest quality products reach our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Inspection: Sort and inspect automotive parts (stamped and welded) for quality defects
- Parts Identification: Quickly and accurately identify non-conforming parts to remove from production line
- Production Targets: Meet daily targets for quality inspections and sorted part quantities
- Part Verification: Verify correct amounts and quantities of parts
- Workplace Organization: Maintain clean and organized work area on production floor
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols for protective equipment and machinery operation
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend 100% of the time
- Comfortable performing repetitive lifting (up to 10 lbs repeatedly)
Work Environment: Comfortable working in factory/manufacturing environment
Attention to Detail: Strong focus and accuracy for quality inspections
Task Focus: Ability to remain concentrated during repetitive tasks
Preferred Experience
- Previous quality assurance experience a plus
- Production or manufacturing background preferred
- Automotive parts knowledge helpful but not required
Physical Demands
This position requires physical stamina including standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire shift, along with regular lifting of automotive parts up to 35 pounds.
