Process Technician
1st Shift | $20.00/hour | Full-time

Job Summary

Process Technician needed for paper manufacturing facility. Create samples from machinery, conduct lab testing, operate equipment, and handle materials. Forklift and bobcat operation required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and prepare samples from paper manufacturing processes for lab analysis
• Weigh, measure samples and conduct pulp counts - record accurate results
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and diverse manufacturing machinery
• Handle materials including steel barrels and caustic chemicals safely
• Operate forklift and bobcat for material transport
• Document irregularities and communicate with team

Physical Requirements

• Work on concrete floors with frequent reaching, bending, stooping, twisting
• Team lifting over 50 pounds, maneuver steel barrels by tilting/rolling
• Handle caustic chemicals following safety protocols
• Physical agility required for varied equipment operation

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or lab experience preferred
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Detail-oriented with strong safety focus
• Able to work with diverse machinery (some used daily, others seasonally)
