Position Overview:
The Validation Technician Assistant supports the qualification and validation of equipment, processes, and systems within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone with an engineering, analytical, or computer-focused background who enjoys structured procedures, system integrity, and working within defined validation states. The role offers training and development for candidates eager to grow in pharmaceutical validation.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Some weekends required
- On-site, full-time
- Pay range: $23–$25/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Support qualification and validation activities for equipment, processes, and computerized systems
- Assist in the preparation and execution of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Execute test scripts, collect validation data, and document results accurately
- Help maintain validated states when changes are made to systems or equipment
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to equipment, HMIs, and system performance
- Assist with dashboards, metrics, and system monitoring tools
- Follow and support GMP and FDA compliance requirements
- Adhere strictly to SOPs, validation procedures, and documentation standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering, analytical, or computer science background or mindset
- Experience or familiarity with HMIs, dashboards, or system metrics preferred
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with equipment or systems
- Strong attention to detail and respect for rules, procedures, and documentation
- Willingness to learn, be trained, and grow within a regulated environment
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and documentation preferred
- High school diploma required; technical training or coursework a plus
