Primary Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and combination materials
- Weld fabricated components according to blueprints, welding procedures, and customer specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and NDE symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment to meet production and quality requirements
- Perform visual inspections of weldments to verify compliance with specifications and standards
- Troubleshoot welding issues and make process adjustments as needed
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance
- Follow written work instructions and complete required production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support additional production projects and duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing and welding experience required
- Experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Experience performing quality inspections of weldments
- Ability to pass in-house weld certification testing up to and including 6G
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Compensation: $22–$27/hr (Benefit Package Available)
Schedule
1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:30pm
Current Mandatory Overtime Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts on Saturdays
