A well-established propane distribution company is hiring a CDL Driver with Hazmat to join their team on O'ahu. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial driver who prioritizes safety, professionalism, and reliable customer service.
🛠 What You’ll Do
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver propane and other hazardous materials
- Follow pre-assigned routes for safe and efficient delivery
- Navigate local roads and customer locations with accuracy
- Dispense propane safely from stationary tanks into commercial cylinders
- Complete delivery tickets/invoices using company software (PRISM)
- Obtain customer signatures and provide completed invoices after each delivery
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage load weight, tank capacities, and proper securement
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, roadside checks, and Hazmat laws
✅ What You’ll Need
- Valid CDL A or B
- Hazmat (H) endorsement – required
- Ability to pass ongoing drug testing (drug-free workplace)
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving safety procedures
- Ability to handle minor mechanical checks on vehicles
- Basic math skills for tank capacity and load weight calculations
- Professional customer service and communication skills
