What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical + hydraulic systems
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, fluids, inspections
- Complete major repairs (drivetrain, suspension, differentials, etc.)
- Use diagnostic tools, power tools, welding equipment, and repair software
- Document all repairs and follow DOT + company safety requirements
- Ensure fleet vehicles are safe, compliant, and road-ready
What You Need to Qualify
- 1+ year diesel truck or tractor-trailer maintenance experience
- High school diploma or technical school training preferred
- Able to diagnose major components (engines, transmissions, etc.)
- Skilled with professional diesel repair tools + diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
- Must pass: background check, drug screening
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- DOT-regulated safety-sensitive position
Physical Requirements
- Lift/move up to 100 lbs
- Stand, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in tight spaces
- Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, and loud noise
