A busy fleet operation on Oʻahu is hiring a Fleet Diesel Mechanic to keep company trucks and equipment running safely and reliably. If you’re experienced with diesel engines, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance — and want steady weekday work — this is a solid long-term opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Perform routine fleet maintenance (PMs, oil, filters, inspections)
- Complete major repairs on drivetrains, suspensions, and engine components
- Use diagnostic tools and scanners to troubleshoot issues
- Document work performed and ensure DOT compliance
- Keep fleet vehicles safe, road-ready, and reliable
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Comfortable with diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
