A well-established local snack and food manufacturer in Hawaiʻi is hiring an experienced Cook to support daily production. This is a fast-paced role for someone who understands commercial cooking, consistency, and volume-based output.

This operation produces popular island-made products that are distributed across Hawaiʻi, so the work stays steady and the kitchen stays busy.

Your Contribution & Impact

Commercial Fryer Cooking:

  • Operate fryers to cook taro and other products while maintaining consistent quality.

Production Consistency:

  • Follow cooking standards to ensure every batch meets company expectations.

High-Volume Output:

  • Keep up with daily production goals in an efficient and organized workflow.

Food Safety & Quality Control:

  • Maintain cleanliness, proper handling, and safe cooking practices at all times.

Team Support:

  • Work alongside production staff to keep operations moving smoothly.

Attributes for Success

  • Previous cook or kitchen experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with fryers, hot oil, and high-volume cooking
  • Strong attention to timing, consistency, and food quality
  • Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced production setting
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Willing to work Monday–Saturday schedule
