🔧 Diesel & Small Engine Mechanic – Day Shift | Waipahu, HI
This is a hands-on mechanic role, working in a real shop with a local equipment rental company that takes care of their gear and their people. If you can diagnose, repair, and turn wrenches without babysitting, this shop wants you.
You’ll work on:
- Generators
- Compressors
- Small engines
- Backhoes
- Skid steers
- Forklifts
- Lifts
No two days are the same — variety is the job.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose issues without guessing
- Rebuild, replace, adjust, and repair components
- Service engines, hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical systems
- Document work cleanly and accurately
- Get equipment ready for rent — safe, clean, reliable
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years in equipment, diesel, or small engine repair
- Can lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Pride in your work — no shortcuts, no slop
What You Get
- $20–$30/hr DOE (real talk: strong mechanics land at the top range)
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
