Job Title: Production Technician and Assembler

Location: Newark, Ohio
Schedule: Flexible shifts Mon to Fri 8AM to 5PM
Pay: $23 – $35 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electromechanical Assembler to join our team supporting advanced technologies used in national defense and security applications. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, assembling electronic/electrical components, managing inventory, assisting with supplier sourcing, and supporting administrative documentation.

Because of the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to secure a Top Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, electrical, and mechanical components following detailed work instructions, drawings, and product specifications
• Read and interpret complex electrical/mechanical schematics, diagrams, and parts lists
• Perform soldering on electronic components and circuit boards (preferred but not required)
• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment including calipers, drills, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
• Assist with sourcing suppliers, requesting quotes, and comparing pricing for materials and components
• Maintain and manage parts inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
• Support administrative tasks such as documentation updates, recordkeeping, order tracking, and internal communication
• Perform product inspections and support quality assurance to ensure compliance with strict defense-related standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment following safety and security protocols

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no exceptions due to federal requirements)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
• Experience reading electrical/mechanical drawings and following detailed work instructions
• Hands-on experience with assembly tools and electronic test equipment
• Soldering experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
