A construction-focused organization is seeking an experienced Temporary Inventory Clerk to support a special project involving inventory tracking and material reconciliation. This role supports warehouse and jobsite operations by performing detailed inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring construction materials, tools, and equipment are properly tracked.

This position is ideal for someone with inventory control experience who understands construction materials and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Your Contribution & Impact

Inventory Counts:

  • Perform full-cycle physical inventory counts of construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.

Job Site Coordination:

  • Conduct inventory checks across warehouses, yards, and active job sites.

Inventory Reconciliation:

  • Compare physical counts with ERP records and research discrepancies.

Data Entry & Reporting:

  • Enter and maintain inventory records in ERP systems such as Sage 300 or similar platforms.

Material Tracking:

  • Monitor transfers, usage, and returns of materials between warehouses and job sites.

Inventory Documentation:

  • Prepare reports and documentation to support project management and accounting teams.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work with warehouse, purchasing, and accounting staff to maintain accurate inventory systems.

Attributes for Success

  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle inventory counting experience
  • ERP data entry experience (Sage 300 or similar system preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
