We’re hiring a Full-Time Cook to support meal preparation in a large-volume, high standards kitchen environment. This role is ideal for someone with professional cooking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
- Support daily meal service for patients, staff, and visitors
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and portion control guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist with prep work, storage rotation, and kitchen line setup
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen (restaurant, hotel, healthcare, school cafeteria, etc.)
- Ability to follow recipes and portion standards
- Food safety knowledge and attention to cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods & lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
