A respected healthcare facility on Kauaʻi is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support its Food and Nutrition Services department. This role plays an important part in providing nutritious, well-prepared meals to patients, visitors, and staff while supporting therapeutic diet needs as directed by medical teams.
Food and Nutrition Services is a collaborative department focused on promoting health, recovery, and overall well-being through quality meal service and nutrition education.

Your Contribution & Impact
Patient Meal Support:
- Assist with tray assembly and delivery for patients, following diet orders and modifications.
Food Service Operations:
- Support cafeteria service, cashiering, pantry functions, nourishment activities, and catering.
Ware Washing & Sanitation:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Dietary Accuracy:
- Work with medical and dietary staff to ensure meals meet prescribed dietary requirements.
Team Collaboration:
- Support daily food service operations alongside kitchen and nutrition staff.
Attributes for Success
- Minimum 1 year of food service and/or cooking experience
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Committed to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
