Job Summary
We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys in a fast-paced law office environment. This role requires a strong administrative background and must have estate planning experience. The ideal candidate presents a polished, professional demeanor and is comfortable working with a diverse client base while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
Candidates with backgrounds in banking, business, corporate environments, or legal administration are strongly preferred. While prior legal experience is a plus, a less seasoned candidate with exceptional professionalism and administrative strength may be trained on the legal aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and submit accurate legal documents within required deadlines
Manage and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure timely filings and court dates
Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys, including document management and case tracking
Maintain professional, confidential, and responsive communication with clients
Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and file management using legal document and case management systems
Handle sensitive and confidential client information with discretion and professionalism
Support day-to-day office operations, including use of standard office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers)
Qualifications
Required: Litigation experience
Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Polished, professional demeanor suitable for a law office environment
Strong understanding of legal terminology preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer and technology skills
Preferred Background
Banking, business, corporate, or legal industry experience
Experience working directly with attorneys and legal teams
Familiarity with legal document management systems and case management software
Technical Skills
Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Legal document management and case management software
Standard office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers)
