Job Title: Maintenance Technician II Location: Woodlawn, Ohio Pay: $30-$38/hr BOE Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3rd Shift 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our maintenance and engineering team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Woodlawn, OH. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
The ideal candidate has solid experience across multiple maintenance disciplines and is comfortable working with general supervision while continuing to grow their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and GMP compliance in accordance with OSHA standards Perform maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, compressed air, and water systems Replace worn or damaged components such as belts, hoses, wiring, piping, switches, fuses, lighting, and structural elements Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas both inside and outside the maintenance shop Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP and HACCP requirements Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Execute preventative maintenance (PM), sanitation, quality, and lean manufacturing procedures Participate in safety, environmental, and job-specific training and apply knowledge in daily tasks Support company environmental policies and sustainability initiatives Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: High school diploma required; vocational or technical training in maintenance-related fields preferred (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, PLC, welding, boiler/refrigeration systems) 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with preventative and proactive maintenance programs Food or flavor industry experience is a plus Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment
