Job Description Summary

Under direct supervision the Process Specialist performs various functions that are routine to moderately complex in nature. These include but are not limited to sorting, processing, researching, extracting, scanning, and filing documents and files within the File Room Department.

Job Description:

Sort and file loan documentation for multiple Huntington business segments. Pull files for various internal departments to fulfil customer requests. Utilize handheld scanners to work with files through doc custody system Respond to e-mail requests to complete customer inquiries. Verify proper loan documentation encapture through enterprise document retrieval system Resolve problems with internal customers in various departments Provide the best customer service by meeting service level standards and being customer focused. Perform additional tasks, such as research, quality review and reporting. Support Huntington’s commitment to continuous improvement by identifying and proposing process improvement ideas to increase the team’s efficiency, quality, and service levels Expand job responsibilities to perform various job functions within the department. ​ Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook. 1 year of goal / production/metric-based employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume production environment, with production and quality demands Must be able to file in numeric and/or alpha order. Must be a team player, energetic, have a positive attitude, and be able to work within a large department Experience and comfort level working with a PC and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Must be able to work independently with deadlines and able to multi-task. Ability to follow instructions and have strong attention to detail. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ten key and data entry experience are strongly preferred. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
