Job Description Pricing and Credit Business Analyst Sr. - Vehicle Finance

Within the Vehicle Finance Segment the primary focus of the Pricing and Credit Business Analyst Sr. role will be to conduct analytics and deliver reporting related to business strategy, pricing, credit, fraud, and operational risk.

The selected individual will develop and execute collaborative efforts to ensure pricing and business initiatives are delivered successfully through critical analytics, close collaboration with key business stakeholders, and a high level of responsiveness to market changes. Working with cross functional teams to understand and connect market dynamics and price optimization strategies will be necessary in this role. The selected individual will develop reporting to effectively monitor pricing and business strategies.

As the 1st line of defense, this position will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the health of the business by converting analytic insights into recommendations in concert with our risk appetite framework. This includes developing credit and fraud risk-based strategies in close partnership with 2nd and 3rd line of defense partners. Additionally, support Underwriting with an eye towards loss mitigation resulting from inadequate or failed processes, systems, human factors, or external events.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring the accuracy of price changes to expected results including root cause analysis Developing and maintaining reporting to aid in determining when to make pricing changes Ensuring the proper controls are in place and certify approved pricing changes are accurately entered into the loan origination system Completing competitor analysis using data sources such as J.D. PIN, AutoCount, quarterly earnings releases Delivering risk-based analysis and reporting related to business strategies such as voluntary protection products, dealer monitoring Monitoring new originations identifying areas of potential adverse selection and recommend remediation efforts to senior leadership Developing and monitoring risk-based customer acquisition strategies to support credit policy, underwriting procedures, and market analysis ensuring they align with the Vehicle Finance risk appetite framework Developing and monitoring fraud mitigation strategies including close collaboration with other Huntington product lines and the Corporate fraud team Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree A minimum of 3 years of analytical experience in a corporate environment is required Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to successfully execute tactical and strategic initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to effectively gather and interpret large datasets Proficient in SQL including the ability to write Oracle and DB2 queries Proven ability to successfully execute tactical and strategic initiative Excellent verbal and written communication skills and being comfortable giving executive level presentations Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Auto Finance experience preferred
